PM Mickoski: Legislation Provides for Everything over US-Blacklisted Persons

On Tuesday, asked whether a restrictive measure law would be adopted, PM Hristijan Mickoski stated that the government would not take unconstitutional steps, but rather work in the direction of positive legal norms and the Constitution, which it considered to be two key pillars.

According to him, North Macedonia’s legislation provides for everything when it comes to persons blacklisted by the US. Regarding the 9 December designations of ex-Deputy PM Artan Grubi and Skopje Court of Appeals Judge Enver Bexheti, he pointed out that what had been found was basically part of the Prosecutor’s Office’s reasonable suspicion.

“I think we have procedures of sufficient quality to complete this in the frames of the system,” Mickoski underlined.
