PM Mickoski has said there will not be early parliamentary elections this year. As he explained on Wednesday, 2026 is a year dedicated to reforms and consolidation of institutions.
“The parties got scared by my statement about elections. But there will be no early parliamentary elections this year”, he stressed, adding that he would like for the parliamentary elections to be held in the so-called regular period, i.e., in 2028.
Whenever they happen, Mickoski added, VMRO-DPMNE is ready. VLEN shares the PM’s stand that the main focus should be on delivering on promised policies.
