At least six individuals have been detained in the major operation launched on Monday morning against a criminal group suspected of smuggling and illicitly trafficking medicines, medicaments, and supplements.
The Interior Ministry has confirmed that multiple police teams are taking part in the operation under the direction of a public prosecutor from the Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office for the Prosecution of Organized Crime and Corruption.
Searches are being carried out at around 10 locations across Skopje, Tetovo, and Gevgelija. Neither the Ministry nor the Prosecutor’s Office has released full details of the operation so far.
However, Health Minister Klekovski told Telma that potency supplements were at the center of the operation.
