11 hours after Thursday’s presentation of Biljana Ivanovska’s plans to enter the Centar mayoral race, police went to the ex-SCPC President’s home to serve her with a criminal charge.
She wasn’t at home, so she went to the Skopje Prosecutor’s Office on her own. Ivanovska considers the actions to represent a threat.
“I have nothing to hide. My conscience is clean”, she said on Friday.
Ivanovska didn’t want to reveal details. However, the Office stated that the charge had been filed in February and concerned the period when she’d headed the SCPC, adding that it was in no way related to the Centar mayoral race.
