Police Officers Conduct Search on Judicial Council’s Premises

On Thursday, upon an order from the Skopje Basic Public Prosecutor’s Office, police officers conducted a search on the premises of the Judicial Council. The Office explained that police were looking for two documents, that is, minutes in order to check potential elements of a crime.

However, it added that the search wasn’t related to the 9 December blacklisting of ex-Deputy PM Artan Grubi and Skopje Court of Appeals Judge Enver Bexheti, but rather it was about a notification from the Interior Ministry ordering that minutes of a Council session regarding the term of Vesna Dameva, who recently resigned as the body’s head, be secured.
