Though PM and VMRO-DPMNE leader Mickoski has constantly said that citizens want reforms, not elections, on Thursday, he once again said if the opposition demanded early polls, his party would not sit on the sidelines. However, SDSM has reiterated it doesn’t want to serve as an alibi for Mickoski.
In the ethnic Albanian political bloc, DUI has demanded early elections. However, VLEN has pointed out that before talking about an election process, Ahmeti’s party should explain why no one within its ranks assumed political responsibility following the defeat in the local elections.
