On Friday, two people were arrested in connection with domestic violence and they’ve each been issued a 30-day detention measure, Interior Minister Toshkovski said on Saturday.
“Today, another two will face justice under an expedited procedure: one for domestic violence and the other for stalking a woman. This is a clear message that violence and harassment will not be tolerated”, he added.
However, the same day, SDSM again called on Toshkovski to resign because, as he said, he’s failed to protect domestic violence victims.
Also on Saturday, SDSM leader Filipche said his party would cancel its traditional March 8 march that was supposed to be held in Bogdanci and instead join the protest in Skopje that would be held under the motto “We will not disappear”.
