
Let all those who claim that there is no threat whatsoever open the negotiating framework, President Siljanovska Davkova said in an interview with Sitel, pointing out that Bulgaria’s unilateral declaration regarding the Macedonian language was incorporated into it.
In that regard, she asked why such an issue had been insisted on in the first place if the EU considered that there was no problem with the language and identity.
She asked: “It is true that the EU says there is no problem with that language, but if, contrary to all international norms in the 21st century, including those of the UN, such a declaration enters into a negotiating framework, why should I not suspect the threat, why else would such a thing be insisted on?”.
