The proposal to abolish the technical government concept has been submitted to Parliament. If the procedure is completed, it will have a deferred effect, i.e., it will enter into force following the next parliamentary elections.
According to the Government, the current, so-called Przhino, model creates additional political and administrative complications, whereas the new law is expected to provide greater stability and continuity in the work of institutions.
SDSM, however, said elections were being prepared and there was an attempt to abolish the technical cabinet concept in a smuggling manner.
“Every attempt to abolish the technical government is a direct attack on democracy and free elections”, the opposition party stressed, adding that it would oppose.
