
The Prosecutor’s Office for Prosecution of Organized Crime and Corruption is closing the case regarding the procurement of 19 modular hospitals, saying it has found no elements of a crime. The case was opened in September 2021.
During the verifications, documentation was collected and analyzed from multiple institutions, including the Ministries of Health, Finance, and Internal Affairs, the Government, and the Public Procurement Bureau.
The Office has established that the procurement procedures were carried out in accordance with applicable rules, including those of the World Bank with regard to the project financed through its loan.
