On Monday, two protests were held in front of the Government building in Skopje.
The first concerned the Oncology Clinic case, while the second was organised by law students and was against the Criminal Code changes that are already in force. Both groups called for authorities to be held to account.
“I came here to express support for my wife, who’s a patient at the Oncology Clinic. My message is for most urgent action to be taken to find those responsible,” a protester said.
A person that was part of the protest against the Criminal Code changes stated that the law was being brought down, adding that what was written in faculty of law books was not practiced in reality. “That has now culminated in these changes,” he added.
