Foreign Minister Mucunski has extended congratulations to Peter Magyar over the election results in Hungary.
“The citizens of Hungary have spoken, and there is nothing more important than the democratic will of the people. We value the strong bilateral relations built over the years and look forward to continuing our cooperation-grounded in mutual respect, partnership, and our shared European future”, he said on social media.
Congratulations were extended by ZNAM as well. SDSM reacted by saying that Orban’s fall could soon lead to a full disclosure of all “secret business combinations” between him and PM Mickoski regarding media, telecommunications, energy, and the one-billion-euro loan. VMRO-DPMNE denied the accusations.
