Saturday, too, saw many reactions to the decision for Talat Xhaferi to be the caretaker PM, as well as stands on election-related topics.
“This is a DUI-SDSM deal made at the start of the term. To us, that is symbolism. We will surely support it,” Alliance for Albanians leader Arben Tavari said, adding that everyone should support that in order for there to be successful elections.
According to SDSM, Xhaferi is the best solution for the post of caretaker PM. Pavle Trajanov’s party, Democratic Alliance, however doesn’t support a caretaker cabinet, especially one headed by DUI. Criticism at DUI and Xhaferi was levelled also by the ethnic Albanian opposition (BESA, Alternative, and Democratic Movement).
