Reactions to European Commission’s Report Continue

Reactions to the European Commission’s Report on North Macedonia have continued.

On Friday, German Ambassador Petra Drexler stated that the country had to deliver better results regarding the rule of law and fight against corruption if it wanted to hope for a European future. She described the document as good grounds for the future negotiations.

There were reactions on Saturday too. The ethnic Albanian opposition, Democratic Movement, BESA, and Alternative, criticised the Government over the Report, calling for Parliament to be dissolved and for presidential and parliamentary elections to be held simultaneously.

On the other hand, DUI said the text proved the commitment to the EU path.
