“It was a message to all to vote for the best one if they were still convinced that their candidate is the best among your ranks”, VLEN’s Fatmir Limani, who failed to enter the second round of the Kicevo mayoral race, has told Kanal 5 regarding his social media post that has been interpreted as differing from that of Bilall Kasami regarding the issue of voting along ethnic lines in the second round.
Limani has declined to give a statement. In the previous post, he said Kicevo would never be developed by claiming that it belonged to either ethnic group.
VMRO-DPMNE, too, has continued to react to the comments by the Tetovo Mayor, who’s running for another term, on the Kicevo mayoral race.
Its Vice-President, Aleksandar Nikoloski, in an interview with the Lider (Leader) Radio medium, points out that the policy of ethnic divisions ended ingloriously and that cooperation within the frames of the ruling structure can continue only on the basis of principles and values.
