On Friday, PM Mickoski criticized the Supreme Court’s decision regarding the Laskarci case, which concerns the 2019 bus crash in which 16 people were killed and 30 were injured. According to the PM, it is the result of remnants and holdovers from the previous, SDSM-DUI government, serving, in his view, as the final resource for protecting individuals who were part of it.
On the other hand, SDSM has maintained the position that the government’s accusations are tendentious and a classic projection by Mickoski and his party, VMRO-DPMNE.
Regarding the case, VLEN said it was a symbol of judicial failure, pointing out that seven years after the tragedy, the families of the 16 victims were still waiting for justice. In that regard, it again pointed the blame finger at DUI.
