Revival Leader Kostadinov Calls on Bulgarian Government to Resign

Commenting on the adoption of Rapporteur Waitz’s draft report, the leader of the Revival party in Bulgaria, Kostadin Kostadinov, has said his country’s government should resign over failure to protect Bulgarian interests in the EU integration process of North Macedonia.

However, the country’s Foreign Minister, Georg Georgiev, welcomed the AFET’s decision, saying it hadn’t allowed speculative nationalist narratives about a centuries-old Macedonian identity to be being spread.
