Sali to Succeed Mexhiti as Deputy PM in Event of Cair Election Victory of Latter

1^st Deputy PM and Environment Minister Izet Mexhiti, who will be endorsed by VLEN in the Cair mayoral race, stated on Tuesday that if he was elected Mayor, he would be succeeded by ex-Health Minister Bekim Sali as 1^st Deputy PM.

“In the frames of the VLEN coalition, we’ve agreed that Sali is the most competent, most ready, and most experienced person to hold office”, he pointed out.

Sali served as Health Minister from 17 January 2022 to 28 February 2023 from the ranks of Alternative in the frames of the SDSM-led cabinet.
