The State Commission for Prevention of Corruption (SCPC) has opened a case over the new Director of the Agency for National Security, Bojan Hristovski.
SCPC President Tatjana Dimitrovska told Telma on Tuesday that the process had been initiated on the basis of an anonymous petition. The case concerns the conditions for the position, that is, the petition challenges the possibility of Hristovski heading the institution.
The previous day, that is, on Monday, VLEN co-leader Arben Taravari had said in an interview with MTV1 that Hristovski had been PM Hristijan Mickoski’s choice.
“I don’t have exact information for now. I’ve read something in media and on portals, but that doesn’t have to mean all that information is legitimate. We need to get information from all sides and discuss. If he’s good as a staff decision, he should continue. if it’s not good, the PM should again decide,” he noted.
According to SDSM, Taravari’s comments confirm the Agency’s “particisation”.
