SCPC to Initiate Proceedings over Ex-Deputy Interior Minister

At Wednesday’s session, State Commission for Prevention of Corruption (SCPC) President Tatjana Dimitrovska said proceedings would be initiated before a relevant organ against an ex-deputy minister who, as it was pointed out, awarded assignment decisions to 189 employees before the end of the election process.

98 were assigned horizontally, while 68 were promoted, which caused Budget implications.

On the other hand, 23 employees were demoted, that is, their pay was reduced. Though the name of the ex-deputy minister was not revealed, media reported that it was about former Deputy Interior Minister Nazim Bushi.

Also, the SCPC is working on the case concerning the travel of PM Hristijan Mickoski’s son, Jovan, to the US. Regarding the issue of Government Secretary-General Igor Janusev’s property in the centre of Skopje, it is waiting for documentation.
