SDSM Continues Criticism of National Agency for Security’s New Director

SDSM has continued its criticism of Bojan Hristovski, especially since the new Agency for National Security Director told the KOD (CODE) show that he didn’t have the highest security certificate (state secret), that is, that he had lower-level one (strictly confidential).

“This confirms all suspicions as to whether he meets legal criteria at all to hold the position,” the party said on Monday, reiterating also its accusations about his English-language certificate and managerial experience.

For CODE, Hristovski had also said he had applied for the highest-level certificate.

“My entire career until 2019, I had had highest-level certificates. Then, in a politically staged smear campaign in which high Security and Counter-Intelligence Administration officials were involved, my new security certificate was not extended,” he noted, adding that he’d started a procedure to get the highest level of classification.
