Rapporteur Waitz’s draft report on North Macedonia, according to SDSM, has confirmed that the country’s EU path is stopped and that there is no progress in key reform areas. The MEP’s document, the party said in a press release on Thursday, finds a halt in reforms, especially with regards to the rule of law, judiciary, and fighting corruption.
Filipche’s party also stated that the draft report sent a message that progress towards the EU was possible only if there were genuine reforms and respect for the rule of law. The Mickoski-headed government, SDSM underlined, doesn’t implement reforms and leads the country towards isolation.
