On Monday, SDSM leader Venko Filipce stated that due to the government’s incompetence in terms of meeting Reform Agenda deadlines, 43 million euros from the Growth Plan intended for reforms had remained unutilized.
Also, he said that the cabinet neither justified nor put into function the 52-million-euro advance payment from the Plan. Asked about his visit to Berlin, Filipce said he’d used it to lobby and talk to MEPs there for the neutral definition regarding the Macedonian language to remain instead of the word “modern” being added before it.
Asked about the issue of open lists, he said SDSM supported that because citizens should elect the best candidates.
Asked about the issue of an electronic census, he stated that it would be a challenge because over 25% of people lived at an address different than that in their IDs and because there was no nationality graph in any electronic database.
