In an interview with 21 TV, SDSM MP and ex-PM Dimitar Kovacevski says the government should present its plan for the EU path.
“Albania has continued its path. Our government should say what waters we’re entering. There is an offer from SDSM for us to discuss within Parliament, according to the Constitution, laws, and, ultimately, the Rules of Procedure,” he stresses.
Also, the ex-PM levels criticism at VMRO-DPMNE.
“There were statements in the pre-election campaign from VMRO-DPMNE that it would be renegotiating the Prespa Agreement when it came to power. Now, we’re seeing it is not being renegotiated. They were saying the same thing about the negotiating framework, as well as that it was now good. Now, it’s become good. They’re now saying they will be renegotiating the conclusions. We don’t know what the plan is because the plan hasn’t been presented,” the SDSM MP stresses.
Regarding the constitutional changes to include Bulgarians in the Constitution, he says it’s a good thing because that will rebut the thesis that it’s about one people in two countries.
