On Wednesday, the SEC, regarding the reruns, confirmed Valbon Limani, Oner Jakuposki, Isen Shabani, and Ariyan Demiri as the new Mayors of Gostivar, Mavrovo i Rostushe, Vrapchishte, and Centar Zhupa, respectively.
Vice President Abdush Demiri said the SEC was tasking municipal election commissions with acting according to the Electoral Code and publishing the final results of the reruns right away.
Before the final results are published, the SEC will have to make a decision on non-voting at Polling Station 0782 in Gostivar Municipality, which was the result of bad weather conditions.
However, as SEC member Angelcho Ristov explained, since there are only 23 registered voters concerning the Station, it can be determined that the number doesn’t impact the results of the Gostivar mayoral race.
