SEC Presents Data on Tuesday Vote

At around 10 pm on Tuesday, the State Election Commission (SEC) presented information about the voting process in the frames of the double elections regarding diaspora members, sick and frail persons, and other categories of citizens.

As of 7 pm, turnout when it comes diaspora members, who are voting in the second round of the presidential election, turnout has been 25.38%.

“However, we highlight that this turnout does not include seven polling stations where, due to the time zone, the vote is still underway,” the SEC said.

When it comes to detained persons and prisoners, turnout as of 7 pm was 60.46% and 68.72% for the presidential and parliamentary elections, respectively. Two internally-displaced persons exercised their right to vote too.

When it comes to the 534 voters part of extra-familial care institutions, 75.09% and 74.91% of them voted in the presidential and parliamentary elections, respectively.

Regarding sick and frail persons, turnout was 80.45% and 92.04% voted in the presidential and parliamentary elections, respectively, the SEC added.
