On Sunday night, the SEC presented the preliminary unofficial results of the reruns. According to them, the candidate endorsed by the DUI-led coalition, Valbon Limani, has defeated VLEN’s candidate, Nevzat Bejta, and will be the new Mayor of Gostivar.
Also, in Mavrovo i Rostushe, VMRO-DPMNE’s Oner Jakupovski has defeated SDSM’s candidate, Anes Ahmeti, and will be the new Mayor. The DUI-led coalition’s candidate, Isen Shabani, has won the mayoral race in Vrapchishte, defeating Zulharajt Demiri.
In Centar Zhupa, Ariyan Demiri of the Democratic Party of Turks, who was the only candidate, is the mayoral race’s winner.
According to the SEC’s website, based on 99.97% of processed votes, Limani received the support from 64.48% of voters in Gostivar. Based on 100% of processed votes, Jakuposki received votes from 65.61% of voters in Mavrovo and Rostushe.
Based on 100% of processed votes, in Vrapchishte, 61.59% of voters supported Shabani, while in Centar Zhupa, based on 100% of processed votes, Ibraim got the support from 97.01% of voters.
As of 6:30 p.m., voter turnout in the reruns was 28.07%, on the basis of 99.93% of processed votes.
