When it comes to the election of council members in the frames of municipalities and the City of Skopje, SEC President Boris Kondarko stated that there would be a re-run only in Suto Orizari, which would be held on 2 November.
The same day, during a visit to Kicevo, VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski stated that, together with his party’s mayoral candidate, Aleksandar Jovanovski, he had held a constructive and honest meeting with citizens.
“We talked about their needs, challenges, and ideas, while we presented to them our programme that offers concrete solutions and a better life. I believe citizens in Kicevo will recognise the right choice and, on Sunday, support policies bringing development, stability, and a future for all of us”, he noted.
SDSM leader Venko Filipce, on his part, was in Lozovo, where he stated that his party’s candidate, Aco Velkovski, had shown through actions how the Municipality should be developed.
“During his mayoral term from 2017 to 2021, he implemented projects in the interest of citizens and progress of the Municipality”, he stressed, adding that Velkovski’s opponent in the second round, Bosko Cvetkovski (who’s also the current Mayor), had done nothing for Lozovo and its citizens.
