The Justice Ministry has confirmed for Sitel that Minister Shasivari will initiate meetings with parties to unblock the process for the Electoral Code. Without a true political dialogue, there can be no agreement on key laws, SDSM points out.
According to the party, the majority destroyed the process back when the technical (Przhino) format of government was abolished. Its Parliamentary Group Coordinator, Oliver Spasovski, stresses that though SDSM is always ready for principled talks, a joint stance of opposition parties is impossible.
If the issue of adopting a new Code is reopened, LDP will demand the acceptance of its positions on open lists and a just funding model.
