Siljanovska Davkova: Council Members not Elected to Be ‘Scandal Masters’

According to President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova, though if the no-confidence motions against the five members of the Judicial Council elected by Parliament (Vesna Dameva, Milazim Mustafa, Tanja Cacarova-Ilievska, Pavlina Crvenkovska, and Selim Ademi) are successful doesn’t automatically mean their membership will end, she expects they will resign citing ethical responsibility.

On Tuesday, she said Council members hadn’t been elected to be “scandal masters”.

When it comes to PM Hristijan Mickoski, he stated that the motions process was in the hands of MPs because they were the ones that elected the members. He expects parliamentarians to vote as they believe they should.
