President Gordana Siljanovska Davkova congratulated Donald Trump on his US election victory. She said she was convinced the period ahead would see the strategic partnership between the two countries advanced and that the US would help her country’s strategic goals be achieved.
Congratulations came also from Foreign Minister Timco Mucunski, SDSM leader Venko Filipce, and Gjorge Ivanov. The ex-President said the success was a reflection of the American people’s confidence and hope in his leadership.
“I wish him success in the challenges that lie ahead for him, hoping his leadership will contribute to the promotion of global peace, stability in international order, prosperity, and success for all,” he said.
VLEN congratulated Trump too. Wishing, as it said, the US President-elect a successful term, full of wise decisions and strong leadership that will keep his country as a leader and guarantor of fundamental values of world democracy, it added it was convinced America would continue to symbolise freedom and serve as an example of democratic principles that inspire many nations around the globe.
Macedonian Concept leader Petar Bogojeski extended congratulations as well.
“Exceptionally dynamic yet democratic elections, where the vote of common Americans has decided on the future of their country, but also of the world. Regarding Macedonia, I expect full continuity in the strategic partnership and a little stronger support to solve the Bulgarian aggression against us,” he wrote.
Bogojeski added that his party had fully supported Trump’s campaign due to common ideological orientations.
