Six Active Wildfires in Country

Citing information from the Crisis Management Centre, media reported on Wednesday afternoon that there were six active wildfires in the country, near Tazevo and Breznica villages and near the Jasen hunting ground, on Ilinska Mountain, near Vitovo, Malo Ilino, Brezani, and Bazernik villages, in Caska Municipality, near Papradiste and Orese villages, in Petrovec Municipality, near Gradmanci village, and Kocani Municipality, near Panagjur, and in Studenicani Municipality, near Dracevica and Crvena Voda villages.

The same day, Serbia’s Helicopter Unit said that if necessary, it would additionally send aircraft to North Macedonia right away. After its session on Tuesday, the Government had said July alone had seen 620 wildfires.
