Outgoing Health Minister Arben Taravari has said his Alliance for Albanians’ wing will show its power in the local elections. However, his decision to leave the cabinet has sparked internal reactions.
Among those that have opposed is also Sabri Aziri, member of the wing’s Presidency. VLEN’s stand is that dissatisfaction within Taravari’s wing has increased as a result of his decision to leave the cabinet.
Flakron Bexheti, has decided to stay with Taravari. As a result, on Monday, he resigned as Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Forestry, and Water Economy.
Also on Monday, PM Mickoski said a decision on who the new Health Minister would be was yet to be made. Also on Monday, SDSM leader Venko Filipce said he would meet Taravari in the coming days.
