The Makedonium monument in Krushevo was rented out for 500 euros to shoot a music video for the song “Sexy Mama” by Kosovan rapper Don Xhoni.
The decision was made by the Management Board of the Historical Museum in Krushevo, as confirmed by its Director, Miha Odjaklieski. He told Telma that “renting” was too harsh a word because the institution had merely made space available.
As Odjaklieski explained, that was pursuant to a decision by the Management Board at a price of 500 euros for a few hours. That had been done on other occasions as well for an appropriate fee, he underlined.
“However, the entire music video was not filmed inside the Makedonium”, Odjaklieski stressed.
However, no permit request had been submitted to the Cultural Heritage Protection Administration for filming at the location, which is protected cultural heritage.
