It took over four hours just to adopt the agenda at Monday’s session of Tetovo Municipality’s Council, which saw a tense atmosphere and political accusations.
DUI left the Council session, even though VLEN accepted its draft item to rename 67 streets. The latter accused the former of creating artificial tensions to overshadow, as it noted, completed or initiated projects.
The commission for renaming streets will hold a meeting on Tuesday (July 14), where the resolution of the problem will begin according to all procedures. Despite its actions on Monday, DUI said it would participate in the work of the commission the following day.
