North Macedonia’s Constitutional Court has officially started the process of full digitalisation. The modern digital system, a donation from TIKA, will enable better access to the Court’s work and advance the decision-making process.
The project was promoted on Monday, in the frames of the bilateral meeting with a delegation of Turkiye’s Constitutional Court, Kadir Ozkaya.
The President of North Macedonia’s Court, Darko Kostadinovski, stated that the new equipment would enable safe and modern conditions for work, that is, holding of hybrid meetings with integrated audio and video conference equipment, simultaneous interpretation for all participants, regardless of whether they were present in person or virtually, a wide range of tools for online cooperation, communication, and content-sharing, and a possibility of live broadcast of videos on different social media and servers.
The equipment was promoted at the formal opening of the new hall for sessions of North Macedonia’s Constitutional Court.
The Turkish Court’s President, Ozkaya, said both institutions had continued cooperation, adding that that would contribute to the strengthening of the rule of law, as well as to the fostering and preservation of fundamental human rights in the Balkan region.
