On Saturday, the Trade Union Federation staged a protest march that ended outside the Government building. President Trendafilov said a big number of workers were being prevented from coming to the protest through threats that they would lose their job and pay.
“However, regardless of that, we are not afraid of you. We have come for an increase of wages and will come again”, he added.
The demands, as Trendafilov stressed, remain the same: a minimum wage of 600 euros and a 6,000-denar increase for all other salaries of workers.
