A new hearing over the Pulse Nightclub Fire case took place Thursday at the courtroom in the Idrizovo Prison in Skopje. Expert witnesses Goran Markovski and Dushica Angjelkovikj proceeded with presenting their findings about the urban status of the building where the club was located.
Representatives of relatives of the victims of the tragedy demanded that more attention is paid to the fundaments of the procedure and for there to be no more delays in it. Mita Taseva, mother of one of the victims, claimed that the questions addressed by defense lawyers are about things that are not relevant to the procedure, while another relative, Dragi Stojanov, requested that the court prevent councilors from repeating questions.
The tragedy occurred on March 16 2025, when a fire caused by irregular pyrotechnics claimed 63 lives and injured over 200 people, many of them children under the age of 18.
