Asked about PM Mickoski’s stand that “it’s somehow become practice for ambassadors to interfere in internal affairs in the country”, the US Embassy told Sitel on Friday that it would continue to engage regarding matters of common interest.
“Our priority is to always cooperate with international partners, including North Macedonia, too, in a way that reflects American commitment to the principles of sovereignty and independence. We will continue to engage regarding matters of common interest, including strengthening the judiciary and rule of law, with our efforts rooted in respect and cooperation,” the Embassy stated.
