The Skopje Appellate Court has upheld the life imprisonment sentences for Ljupcho Palevski, Velibor Manev, Boro Videvski, and Vlatko Keshishev for the 2023 murder of teenager Vanja Gjorchevska and Panche Zhezhovski.
Regarding Gjorchevska’s father, Aleksandar Gjorchevski, the Prosecutor’s Office’s appeal has been accepted, i.e., the higher Court annulled the acquittal portion of the first-instance verdict, meaning a retrial has been ordered.
Gjorchevski was accused of aiding and abetting the commission of the crime, specifically by providing the suspects with information regarding his daughter’s movements and the time she would leave home to go to school.
