VLEN File Criminal Charges against DUI’s Osmani over OSCE Summit

VLEN filed criminal charges to the Public Prosecutor’s Office (PPO) against DUI member Bujar Osmani, accusing him of criminal activities related to the organisation of the OSCE Summit that took place in Skopje at the end of 2023, when Osmani was Minister of Foreign Affairs.

VLEN claim, citing sources from the State Audit Office, that 120 million denars from the state budget have been spent for the organisation of the Summit without any documentation about how and what for particularly the money in question was spent.

“The audit reports about this great of an expense that went on unregistered open room for serious doubts about the organisation of the summit, which was headed by then FM Bujar Osmani. We must not allow such criminal behaviour to go unpunished”, stated Granit Osmani from VLEN.
