VLEN will continue to hold the ministerial position in the health sector following Arben Taravari’s leaving of the cabinet.
“The Health Ministry was requested by us also because Arben Taravari, as a then-member of ours, asked for that as a department. Now, with his leaving, we’re ready to talk also on such combinations. However, there are no negotiations within the government regarding rotations. As long as there is no new situation, all positions held so far continue to be held by VLEN”, Tetovo Mayor Bilall Kasami said.
According to VLEN’s Izet Mexhiti, Taravari’s decision to leave the government will not cause any problems for the work of the cabinet. VLEN also rejected, again, DUI’s stand that early parliamentary elections should be held.
When it comes to VMRO-DPMNE, it said Taravari should explain why he left, that is, it said “his unreasonable behaviour must be a result of blackmail and diktat by the criminal duo” of SDS and DUI. However, Taravari’s wing refuted the accusations.
