Regarding Public Administration Minister Goran Mincev’s comments that there was no working group over the equitable representation law issue, VLEN’s Halil Snopce said that was not true.
“Such a working group exists. It comprises VLEN, VMRO-DPMNE, and ZNAM representatives. Mr Mincev himself is the ZNAM representative. So far, the working group has held two meetings,” he stated.
However, ZNAM said it didn’t have representatives in such a working group. Though they disagree over the group issue, Mincev and Snopce agree that equitable representation is a constitutional category.
“The constitutional guarantee about equitable and equal representation should be solved through a law. So, a working group has been formed in order for there to be a proposal that will be all-encompassing and acceptable to all,” the MP said.
