VMRO-DPMNE has accused SDSM of lacking transparency during the latter’s time in power regarding spending on several state events.
“SDSM remained silent about where the money went from the organization of NATO Fest, the name-change celebration, and the OSCE Summit”, the party said on Saturday, adding that, unlike the previous cabinet, the current Government provided complete transparency and accountability.
VMRO-DPMNE also pointed out that the expenses for the Independence Day celebration had been made public and that all additional questions from SDSM could be answered via the Government’s press conference. PM Mickoski, too, defended the celebration events, VMRO-DPMNE accused SDSM of opposing celebrations and, as it underlined, the progress and development of the country.
On the other hand, SDSM continued its criticism regarding the amount, 5.5 million euros, spent on the events marking Independence Day.
