VMRO-DPMNE and SDSM Continue to Trade Accusations

VMRO-DPMNE and SDSM have continued to trade accusations regarding Bulgaria-related topics. The former says that even though the latter’s leader, Filipche, has clearly claimed that he has not heard anyone in the eastern neighbor so far deny the Macedonian identity, he has still managed to “align his views with the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry”.

On the other hand, SDSM has alleged that that the Secretary General of the Government, Igor Janushev, who’s among PM Mickoski’s closest associates, holds a Bulgarian passport.

According to documents published in Bulgarian media, Igor Janushev is linked to FLUGBAN TRANS, a limited liability company based in Kyustendil, the party points out. The company has an annual turnover of around 320,000 euros, but declares a profit of fewer than 10,000 euros, the SDSM adds.

In that regard, Filipche’s party stresses that while Mickoski and his closest associates have business interests in Bulgaria, they are simultaneously blocking the European integration path. In another press release, SDSM has reiterated its criticism over the cabinet reshuffle too, saying it will not produce results or benefits for citizens.
