Parliament Speaker Gashi’s appeal for nominating members for the Inquiry Committee on the Kochani fire has not changed the political parties’ stance.
In Parliament, both the ruling majority and the opposition continue to offer justifications as to why they are not nominating members. SDSM leader and MP Filipche is still waiting for an official letter.
The ruling VMRO-DPMNE, citing the same reason, has said it is waiting for a call from the Levica MP and leader, Apasiev, head of the Standing Inquiry Committee on Citizens’ Rights and Freedoms, for convening a session at which conclusions are to be adopted.
