VMRO-DPMNE issued a reaction against Prosecutor Lenche Ristoska, after she revealed Thursday that she has filed a lawsuit against the party.
“Prosecutor Ristoska was part of the Special Prosecutor’s Office (SPO), which ended in a criminal scandal and a racketeering network worth several million euros. As part of that network, her superior Katica Janeva was legally convicted. What more can be said? Ristoska is not a victim, but rather a recurrence of the system that swallowed victims and carried out persecution”, they react from VMRO-DPMNE.
Previously, Ristoska reacted to a statement made by VMRO-DPMNE leader and PM Hristijan Mickoski, which she took umbrage at.
In meantime, Ristoska attended the new hearing over the Thaler 1 case, in which former PM Nikola Gruevski and several other members of VMRO-DPMNE are charged with abuse of office and money laundering. The hearing was postponed due to the absence of the defense attorney, which will now result in expiration of the statute of limitation in this case concerning the charges over abuse of office.
