VMRO-DPMNE and SDSM have continued to trade fierce accusations over numerous topics, including the EU path and the Prespa Agreement. On Tuesday, the former described former PM and ex-SDSM leader Zaev and the current leader of the opposition party as “the greatest proven quislings” of the country.
“They changed the name, changed the Constitution, changed the flag, renounced the Macedonian minority in neighboring countries, said the Bulgarians were liberators, and claimed the Macedonian language had begun with World War II”, VMRO-DPMNE said in the press release.
On the other hand, Filipche continued to accuse the ruling party’s leader, PM Mickoski, of isolating the country and being a Russian “proxy” player. Also, he said the isolationist policy directly jeopardized the national identity and distanced the country from the EU.
