VMRO-DPMNE-SDSM Accusations over Russian Influence and Ties Issue

On Monday, VMRO-DPMNE MP Mile Lefkov stated that Russian influence and Russian policy had an entry into Macedonia only through SDSM, party leader Filipche, and former leader Zaev.

In that regard, he pointed to the case of Oleksandr Onishchenko, who, as he said, was a member of the pro-Russian party in Ukraine headed by then-President Yanukovych.

Considering the “pro-Russian” politician Onishchenko was presented by then-government as an athlete that would ride a horse for Macedonia in the Olympics, it’s legitimate for the public to get an answer as to what SDSM’s goal was when it comes to housing him in Macedonia and whether someone greatly profited in this case.

In response, SDSM described the accusations as ridiculous. Regarding the upcoming visit of Secretary General Rutte, SDSM ironically asked what PM Mickoski would tell him about the case of Honorary Consul in Serbia Dusan Adamovic and about DPM Stoilkovikj’s ties with Russia.
