On Monday, a hearing was held in the trial of the 13 police officers who, according to the charge, failed to stop the party at Pulse in Kochani on March 16, 2025, and failed to prevent the use of pyrotechnics. Police officers had been present inside Pulse in Kochani — where minors were also present — even before the fatal fire broke out, three witnesses for the Prosecutor’s Office confirmed.
According to witness Nikolche Efremov, who was inside the venue that night, police officers offered no assistance whatsoever to the injured after the fire erupted. The parents of those killed in the fire pointed out such testimonies served as proof that the officers had not carried out their official duties.
